recently had the privilege of participating in a Freedom group led by Jeanette. Jeanette is a spirit-filled leader, and she was such a blessing to the group and to me personally. Jeanette was able to touch lives and bring real-life experience to the group. She leads with integrity and love and has a genuine heart for people.

 

Jeanette is a talented published author and is able to share her life story, unabashedly, because of the freedom she, herself, has received! Jeanette exudes joy. Her joyful countenance is undeniable, and it’s the kind of thing that makes you think, “I want whatever she’s got!” It's contagious! I’m so grateful to count her among my friends.

 

No matter what a person is seeking to be free of—grief, shame, depression, abuse, toxic relationships, addictions—I highly recommend this Freedom course. I am so glad my first experience with the Freedom course was with Jeanette. She has the knowledge, the heart, and the experience to lead!

Jeanette and I partnered up in leading two Freedom Women’s Small Groups. Because of Jeanette's ordained life journey, she has the beautiful ability to lead with integrity and personal experience. Even when Satan would try to distract from our goal of setting women free, God would show up bigger and redirect the hearts in our group. Jeanette kept showing up for our group, determined to allow God to work on the hearts of these women in His perfect timing.

 

Jeanette has a gift of prayer, and the Holy Spirit speaks through her and into the women she's leading. I'm grateful to have partnered with her and for us to witness and experience the freedom that these ladies gained by showing up for themselves.

For the past 5 years, I have really been struggling with what I should do about my relationship with my sister. When her mother, my stepmother, passed away in 2020, she said hateful things to me and posted some very hurtful things about me on social media. So I distanced myself from her and her family to protect myself. Lately, the distance plagued my mind, and I kept picking at myself and questioning if I had done the right thing—CONSTANTLY! Like every day, I would purposely pick up this burden and roll it over and over in my mind. And I began to think that it was the Holy Spirit pushing at me to "suck it up" and "turn the other cheek." Ultimately, I thought I was being asked to compromise all my feelings and reconcile with her.

 

Week 7 was my FREEDOM moment. It was all about Forgiveness. I believe it was the WHOLE REASON God put me with these women for this study. I realized that it wasn’t that the Holy Spirit wanted me to compromise myself; Our Father was pushing me to FORGIVENESS. He gave me Jeanette so she would lead me through the prayer that honestly freed me and allowed me to forgive in a new way!

After Week 7, I haven't given those hardened and hurt feelings any thought, and if I think about my sister, I pray for nothing but the best and with a love I haven't felt in a long time. Now that's FREEDOM! Your sister through and in Christ Jesus,

I started the freedom group this spring 2025 with Jeanette and a group of ladies who I hold dear to my heart. I know God had something for me. I was going through some tough situations with a family member. Hurtful and untrue things were said to me and about me. It was tearing my heart apart. I was dealing with rejection and not feeling valued.

Through the study I learned to let go of all the hurt and pain. I thank the Lord for putting Jeanette in my life, and I'm so thankful for God using her as his vessel to set the captive free, which was me in this area of rejection. Thank you!

I got to meet Jeanette at church, but didn’t have a chance to see her in her elements until I was able to attend a Freedom small group during the week. I was so moved by her genuine passion for helping other women in our group and praying for all of us.

 

I am grateful to be involved in the women’s small group, sharing and learning through the various topics discussed; specifically for me, it was forgiveness.

I have gone through loss and grief, family issues, as well as medical procedures recently, and having Jeanette pray for those things gave rise to a change in my perspective.

 

I have been so fortunate to be surrounded by such positive, Christ-centered, supportive ladies, and I have encouraged others to participate in the small group, the curriculum, and the online coursework to help them heal and grow in the Word. I look forward to participating in the next semester of Freedom and doing the classes online, too!
